The spirit of Route 66 is strong in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This vintage lowrider, seen on Route 66 (Central Ave.) in Albuquerque, is a testament to the thriving car culture here. On any given Saturday or Sunday during the spring and summer, there is a custom car show (or two) somewhere in Albuquerque. On Sunday evenings, lovingly restored and modded vintage cars gather in downtown Albuquerque on the Old Route 66 for an impromptu rolling custom car show. Ya’ gotta love it!
