How do you know you’re in one of the coolest cities on earth? When it has exclusive lowrider parking in the heart of downtown! This vintage roadster was parked in Santa Fe, New Mexico in an exclusive lowrider parking zone (2-hour time limit) in front of the charming Hotel Chimayo de Santa Fe. Now, this is not a true lowrider… As the sign says: “If it doesn’t scrape the pavement it’s not a true lowrider…” But its close enough! It was only during my post-processing of this photo that I realized the street sign showed this to be an Exclusive Lowrider Parking zone. How cool is that! Seeing these automotive classics in downtown Santa Fe certainly, adds to the charisma of this beautiful city.
Camera: Pentax K-x DSLR camera and Tokina 28-70mm F3.5-4.5 manual lens. The 12.4-megapixel Pentax K-x DSLR can be found on the used camera market for less than $200. This ancient Tokina lens is a great performer that retails new for less than $30.00.
