Walking On Fulton Street

Walking on Fulton Street. This photo shows a slice of the cacaphony that is New York City. This downtown Manhattan street leads to the South Street Seaport, and is typical of the tightly spaced arteries in this area. Even on the sunday afternoon this photo was taken, a melange of tourists, workers, construction equipment, street vendors, and businesses of all sorts give this space a claustrophobic ambiance. This is the city that never sleeps . . . And at times, it shows the haggard visage that comes with that reputation.
