This photo shows the usual crowds of tourists visiting Times Square in New York City on a late summer evening. This scene shows a restaurant across the street from the Port Authority Bus Terminal in the heart of the Times Square district (42nd Street & Eighth Avenue). This photo was captured in the early evening when sunset colors and street lighting create a colorful mix. Times Square is as interesting and colorful as it looks. It has, particularly in the last twenty years, become quite the family attraction, shaking off its seamier past. The addition of a public court in the heart of Times Square where visitors can sit and people watch, has made it much more hospitable to the large crowds drawn here. Although I am a life-long New Yorker, I never grow tired of a stroll through Times Square.
