Times Square Side Street, Bright Lights ⇑

This photo shows what I believe is 44th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues in the Times Square District of New York City. I like how the brilliant light from Times Square provides a back-lit effect for this relatively subdued side street. Moody color play! This was captured with a handheld Nikon D3000 with 18-55mm VR lens. The VR (Vibration Reduction) feature of this camera has allowed me to capture some amazingly sharp photos walking around Times Square after sunset!
