Six years ago, I spent 2 months driving from coast to coast of these United States. I got to explore quite a number of our urban centers. Of all the cities I have visited, none have the indefatigable energy of New York. New Yorkers are in constant motion. We eat on the run, work on the run, and play on the run. We just run, night and day, in the city of perpetual motion. Even when New Yorkers have nowhere to go, we keep moving. This photo, captured in front of Grand Central Station, New York, shows New Yorkers doing what we do best, keeping on the run.
