The Glitter of Times Square

These two photos come from that over-the-top New York City attraction, Times Square. I can remember, in the early 1980′s when this was not a place you wanted to be at any time of the day. It was a haunt of lurid dangers and those drawn to them. However, it is now the glittering home of a spacious plaza that welcomes families from all over the world. It also, curiously enough, seems to attract staid powerhouse Wall Street investment firms who seem drawn by the glitter and glamour of it all. Many of the top Wall Street investment firms and brokerage houses have a presence in this, the gaudiest of New York City neighborhoods. What’s that all about?
