The Flatiron at Sunset

The Flatiron at Sunset. The Flatiron Building, one of New York City’s oldest skyscrapers, is at the center of this composition. The neighborhood around this building is called the Flatiron District after its signature building, which has become an icon of the New York skyline. It is a popular subject for tourists snapshots, and a functioning office building. Recently an Italian firm purchased the building with plans to turn it into a luxury hotel when current leases expire. Camera: Canon 10D, Tokina 19-35mm lens.
