Taxi, Times Square, HDR

This photo shows a yellow taxi in Times Square, New York City on a beautiful winter’s early evening. This was one of those balmy afternoons, perfect for a New York City stroll! I used a subtle bit of pseudo HDR processing to bring out the detail and give the colors more ‘pop.’ I consider it pseudo HDR because I used one image, and remapped the colors using an inexpensive HDR Photoshop plug-in named ReDynamix by MediaChance. It creates HDR-like effects from single images. I highly recommend this plugin! You can control the degree of HDR-effect you dial into your images, and the results are quite appealing.
