Remain Close To Jehovah, 3 Day Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses, New York City ⇑

I always look forward to the annual three-day conventions of Jehovah’s Witnesses each summer! I spent this past weekend at the first “Remain Close To Jehovah” Convention held at the Jehovah’s Witnesses Assembly Hall on Greenpoint Ave., in Sunnyside, New York City. My favorite presentation was the thought provoking drama on the Sunday afternoon program. It was based on events that took place in ancient Jerusalem when Christians were warned in prophecy by Jesus to flee the city. The events that took place then have powerful prophetic application to our day. How so? Well, you are warmly invited to a convention this summer near your home to find out! All conventions are open to the public, and there are no collections.

It was nice to be back in Queens. I had not been back to this part of Queens, NYC for more than twelve years. I’ve always loved the amazing ethnic diversity of this neighborhood and the modestly priced “mom and pop” restaurants. Above all, I enjoyed the many conventions I’ve attended here as a youth.
