New York City Street Scene, Near Canal Street⇑

.New York City’s residential neighborhoods are rich in color, contrast and character. On a beautiful day when there is good light and lots of activity, I enjoy taking a walk that around some of the city’s quirky, energetic neighborhoods with camera in hand. The sights, colors, shadows and characters are endlessly interesting. I created the Streets of NYC section of this site to celebrate the local neighborhoods in our city that have captivated my attention. Hopefully, it will give you a taste of New York as the natives live it.
