Irish Pub, New York City

Irish Pub, New York City. I have always admired the look of Irish Pubs. The color scheme and decor convey a sense of warmth and coziness. In my prior career in banking, we often held lunch-hour meetings in a private room at a local Irish Pub. An overflowing pastrami sandwich and cold beer made even the most perfunctory of financial conversations bearable. Once I changed careers I lost the habit of having a “manly” lunch at a local pub. Nevertheless, the classic look of a true Irish Pub always catches my eye. This photo was captured somewhere along 7th Avenue near 49th Street in Manhattan.
