Crossing Canal Street, heading for Soho. We are facing a side street that intersects with Canal Street (Manhattan), and that leads into the trendy Soho shopping district. On a nice day, (as this was) walking in this area of New York City becomes both a form of light exercise and a fashion statement.
This photo was shot with a Pentax *istDS and 18-55mm kit lens. The RAW file was converted using the default settings of “Perfectly Clear” in Bibble 5. This raw converter also does automatic lens correction based upon an extensive database of supported lenses. It is a nice tool that has been somewhat overshadowed by the more popular Adobe Lightroom.
