A Cloudy Night In Times Square

Even on a cloudy night in Times Square, the colors are vivid and alluring. As a photographer, I am drawn to color like a moth to a flame. What is more colorful in New York City than Times Square? This photo was an opportunity for me to test a new tripod I’ve purchased. For the sharpest images possible, nothing beats a heavy, soundly built tripod. They may be inconvenient to carry but the end result is worth it! This image was shot at 0.3 second, F9.5, ISO 100, using my Canon 10D and Tokina 19-35mm f3.5-4.5 lens. I am delighted with the new tripod and it is one of the best bargains to be had in photography. I will write a review soon for all you budget-minded photogs.
