Photos like this flood my thoughts with warm memories of the many hours I have spent exploring the Jemez, soaking in its noble beauty. On such a day as this I would pick up an Indian fry Bread at a local vendor stand and just linger, sharing in its simple pleasures. If you ever plan to visit New Mexico, be sure to give yourself time to walk, hike, and share a bit of bread with the locals. Move too fast, and you will miss what makes this state so special.
