The Bosque
is a wooded stretch of land that borders the Rio Grande (river) as it winds through Albuquerque, New Mexico. This pleasant and welcoming open space is populated with Cottonwood, coyote willow, and New Mexico olive trees among its flora. Its cool, shady forest provides habitat for beaver, numerous bird species, turtles, and snakes. It is a great space for a pleasant stroll or picnic, and is well loved by locals.
