NJPAC, Blue Sunset

NJPAC, Blue Sunset. This photo shows the jewel of downtown Newark, New Jersey, NJPAC (New Jersey Performing Arts Center) on a frigid and blustery winter evening during sunset. The natural light was magnificent, and the perfect compliment to NJPAC’s warm brick facade. This beautiful light lasted no more than ten minutes before it quickly started to fade. I tried to capture the light at the point when it was perfectly balanced with the street lighting. If I had waited until the sky was dark, much of the color in this image would have been lost.
