Yellow Flower In Bloom
This beautiful yellow flower is a spring bloom from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in Brooklyn, New York. It was captured on a spring afternoon in a shady portion of the garden. I shot this image at ISO 400 on my Canon Rebel XS, and used a 1/400 sec. shutter speed with a tripod mounted Canon 55-250mm EF-S lens at F6.3, 194mm. This budget camera and lens is a very nice combination for this type of photography. The raw image file was edited with SilkyPix Developer Studio Pro 5, and resized and sharpened using the SmartSharpen feature in Photoshop.
