Lotus in Pink and Blue

What extraordinary design is seen in this beautiful lotus flower swathed in pink and blue, photographed at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn, New York. It is a symphony of color, texture and form, offering a chorus of praise to its Creator. This is why I find the concept of Evolution so difficult to accept. As a designer myself, I well know that developing creative skills requires practice, trial and error, refinement, and a measure of experience in life. Yet, human efforts at design in all disciplines pales in comparision to what is seen in the natural world. Living design must be the product of an intelligence far higher than our own.
