Flowers on Film II

Flowers on Film II. I’m going into my archives and pulling out old photos of flowers shot on negative film at The Rio Grande Botanic Garden in Albuquerque, New Mexico. These photos are about 5-6 years old, and were captured during my residence in Albuquerque. This image, captured with a Minolta x-700 and possibly a Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm lens, shows off the capabilities of negative film. It was shot on 100 ASA Kodak Ultracolor, and scanned with a Nikon Coolscan V. The tight grain and vivid colors of Kodak Ultracolor (no longer available, replaced by Ektar 100) really shines in this photo. Getting great color seems so effortless with film . . .
