The Black Raven

This immature Black Raven was among the birds scavenging while I was capturing images of wintering ducks in Papago Park, Phoenix, Arizona. What is interesting is what the raven has his eye on. There is a little dragonfly in the top left portion of the image. It is faint, yet, it has this raven’s rapt attention! This image was captured with a Nikon D40 and Nikon 18-55mm VR lens.
