Sublime Cherry Blossoms . . . Sublime

This was the perfect day. Cherry blossoms, the sun, a hint of clouds, & shirtsleeves. The beautiful white cherry blossoms were in peak bloom about a week before the Cherry Blossom Festival evidently because of generous winter rain and snow. I learned that not all types of Sakura (cherry trees) bloom on the same schedule. The pink blossoms came in to peak bloom just in time for the start of the festival.
