Sunset Washes Over Papago

For a New Yorker like myself, the last six years spent in New Mexico and Arizona have been an amazing experience. What made it so special was the myriad of small moments spent experiencing the joys of creation. These photos, all captured in one evening, provide a sunset diary. A beautiful evening, a light breeze, and watching the play of color and tone as sunset colors wash over the red sands of Papago Park.

These photos were captured with a Sony Alpha A200, and the 18-75mm kit lens. I also used a polarizer (to enhance blue skies) and a tripod for all shots.
