This photo shows a typical tourist in awe at the Grand Canyon in northern Arizona. Indeed, everyone should see this magnificent natural spectacle at least once in their lives. This scene is from the South Rim of the canyon. The South Rim of the Grand Canyon attracts over 5 million visitors each year and by far is the most visited side of the Canyon.

In many sections of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon you could simply walk your way to a sudden death as this second photo indicates. I guess common sense keeps most visitors from being too daring. Personally, I prefer to show a healthy respect for the dangers inherent here.
