Papago Park, Phoenix Arizona, Red Rock Buttes on a hot, sunny day. ⇑

On a blazing hot, sunny day in Phoenix, Arizona, I would often be found in Papago Park, photographing these starkly handsome red rock buttes. You can almost feel the heat radiating from the red sands of Papago! The beauty of this unique park lies in its stark contrast to the urban environ that hosts it. You feel like you have entered another world the moment you enter this desert panorama just minutes away from the buzz and hum of the city proper.

This photo was captured during a partially cloudy day, which always add a bit of relief from the relentless sun. It was captured raw using a Sony Alpha A200, and edited with the latest version of Bibble 5, a raw photo editor that I am currently testing. I will give my impressions on this new photo editor in an upcoming post!
