Why do I love the desert? I get a sense of wanderlust when I look at photos like this. This scene, captured at the base of the Superstition Mountains (The Apache Trail, Arizona), shows the restored Elvis Chapel, a movie prop from the old Apacheland Movie Studio. Part of the Superstition Mountain Museum, it is plopped down in the middle of dry, dusty, tough as nails desert. That’s my kind of place!
