A Perfect Winter Day, Sedona

There are days when things are about as perfect as one could ask for. This was one of those days. Temperature in the high 70′s, a gentle breeze, clean, crisp air, and this! This beckoning red rock landscape in Sedona, Arizona was indeed perfect. I am captivated by the colors found here. A soft powder blue sky, pinkish hued red rock buttes, and foliage in pastel greens and yellows. This is not the product of happenstance, it is the breathtaking work of an Intelligent Designer.

This photo was captured with what remains my favorite camera to date, the Nikon D40, along with the 18-55mm kit lens. The camera was tripod mounted and a polarizer was used.
