One of the most thrilling Albuquerque sights for me, (a nature-deprived New Yorker) is seeing the Placitas Wild Horses that roam in and around the open terrain of Albuquerque, New Mexico. As I drive through the open country surrounding Albuquerque, simply seeing the wild horses added a bit of joy to my day. They are a beautiful sight, and add richly to the quality of life in the Albuquerque area. This photo was captured along the Turquoise Trail that connects Albuquerque to New Mexico.
