Why Albuquerque Style?

Albuquerque, New Mexico is a truly charming and unique locale that, in my opinion, is one of the most livable cities in the United States. Others will agree! Many Albuquerque residents are, for good reason, quite passionate about their home. It is a refreshingly "down-to-earth" city that benefits richly from the amalgam of cultures it hosts. And, it also benefits from being at the center of some of this country's most photogenic natural settings.

Albuquerque lacks the glamour of its more popular siblings to the north, Santa Fe and Taos. Santa Fe is a fascinating town to visit, with a downtown rich in restaurants and world class art galleries. Taos is an attractive resort town with wonderful summer and winter attractions. However, Albuquerque is a city one wants to live in, not merely visit. While it cannot match the glamour of Santa Fe or Taos, it provides attractive, affordable neighborhoods for raising families. It is a place you can call home. As a lifelong New Yorker, I found the southwestern charm of this place irresistible. It has all the amenities of a big city without the excesses. I have happily traded in the hustle and bustle of New York for the spectacular sunsets that paint the Sandia Mountains each evening.

Albuquerque has style! My appreciation for this modest locale moved me to create this website. I hope it extends a warm welcome and helpful information to anyone considering relocation to Albuquerque.
