About Me
Love where life takes you. Wherever you find yourself, look for the good, and be thankful when you find it. I have been privileged not only to spend most of my life in New York City, but also, to spend a good number of years exploring the Southwestern United States. I have loved it all. I acquired a love for photography during a three month cross-country drive more than six years ago. My photos were not the best (and I am still working on getting better) but they provided a chronicle of all the places I have seen. That trip also gave me my first taste of New Mexico, which I promptly fell in love with.
StylePeterson.com is a visual travelogue of sorts chronicling my journey on the roads and trailways of life, beginning in New Mexico. After more than three years spent in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I headed for Phoenix, Arizona. I have sampled rugged western ghost towns, majestic red rock vistas, snow-capped mountains and so much more. I have learned to love green chili and to avoid cholla cactus. I have stared coyotes in the face and gingerly avoided rattlers. Share my journey as I post photographic memories.
I have now returned to New York City after six wonderful years spent in the Southwestern United States. It was a privilege to have that opportunity. I look forward to returning in the future. I turn my camera toward the colors and sights of New York City. I hope you enjoy my photographic impressions as I rediscover New York City and my urbane roots.
